MASTER IN TAXATION

Master in Taxation (MIT) programme aims to produce graduates who possess knowledge related to taxation, management knowledge and professional skills as preparation for the challenges of managing organisations in the current global business environment.

Admission Criteria

Applicants must possess:

  1. a bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 2.75; or

  2. a bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with a CGPA of 2.5 to 2.74 and have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience may be considered, subject to the interview by the Postgraduate Committee; or

  3. a diploma from any institutions of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience, 35 years or older and passed APEL assessment (level 7); or

  4. any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the University Senate; and

  5. fulfil the English language requirement as set by the University Senate.
