ABOUT US
TISSA-UUM is one of the nation's oldest accounting schools, having been established along with Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1984. TISSA-UUM comprises two departments, namely the Department of Accounting and Taxation and Department of Audit and Accounting Information Systems. With its strength of 116 faculty members, TISSA-UUM is proud to be among the largest accounting school in Malaysia. Students applying into its Bachelor of Accounting (Honors) and Bachelor of Accounting (Information Systems) programmes have to go through a stringent process of selection and only the best ones are accepted. TISSA-UUM also has a notable postgraduate division, with a considerable number of international students enrolling in its masters (either by coursework or full research) and Ph.D. programs.
